Blogging Goals for March

blogging goals marchHere it is the first of March, and it’s time to take stock of what progress was made last month, and what progress I hope to make this month.  Celebrating small victories and setting new goals.

February Blogging Goals

My number one goal for February was to get moved to a self hosted site.  I did that on February 25th.  I have not been here a full week yet.  This move means I now have to funnel the traffic from my WordPress dot com blog to this site.  That will take effort and time, and I may not successfully get everyone to migrate over.  It also means, I have to build the audience for this blog from the ground up.

March Blogging Goals

I have a lot of things I want to accomplish in March.  Things that will help me grow this blog reach more people.

Google Analytics.  I took 3 day Skyrocket Your Blog Pageviews Class offered by The SITS Girls.  I bought the ebook to go along with it, so that I could better understand the data I am seeing in Google Analytics, and what I can do to grow my blog.

Building a Profitable Blog.  I also signed up for another SITS Girls class, Building a Profitable Blog from Day One.  A 5 day class that teaches you to give your blog a boost and set up the foundation to start making money.

Pinterest.  There is a ridiculous amount of people using Pinterest and I am totally missing out on a tremendous amount of traffic from a free resource.  So I have decided I am going to learn about Rich Pins, and how to drive traffic from Pinterest here.

On top of these three goals, I am also looking into a blogging schedule and writing better content, and joining linkups.  I have given myself 90 days to increase my traffic and establish myself on my self hosted site before I start looking into possibly monetizing my blog.

Blogging goals March 2016

March is going to be a busy busy month for me, but one I hope sees more traffic, better blogging and starting to make a real name for myself.

What are your goals for March?
